In short: GeniusFormers Coach collects only the information the coach needs in order to prepare your meeting. Your data is stored in Europe, with OVH, and is never sold on or shared for commercial purposes. To write the report, we use an artificial intelligence service located in the United States: your real first name is never sent to it, it is replaced by a fictitious first name while the report is being generated — see section 5.
GeniusFormers Coach is a platform used by careers guidance coaches to support young people in choosing their studies. The young person fills in a short online questionnaire, which the coach consults before the first session in order to tailor the support provided.
We apply the principle of data minimisation: we keep only what is strictly useful for the coaching.
No sensitive data within the meaning of the GDPR is requested: no national identification number, no health data, no political or religious opinions.

The processing of your data rests on two legal bases laid down by the GDPR:
Is the questionnaire compulsory? No, there is no legal obligation to fill it in. It is, however, necessary for the coaching to run properly: without this information, the coach cannot prepare the session or write a personalised report.
All storage (database, generated reports, backups) is hosted in the European Union, on the infrastructure of OVH (France).
Pseudonymisation for the generation of the report: to write the chapters of the report, GeniusFormers Coach uses an artificial intelligence model provided by Anthropic (United States). Before any transmission, the young person's data is pseudonymised: their real first name is replaced by a randomly drawn fictitious first name. The original first name is reinserted into the final report only after the generated text has been received.
Only the following information is transmitted, and always in pseudonymised form:
The following are never transmitted: the real first name, the surname, the date of birth, the school, or any other directly identifying data. On the basis of the information received alone, Anthropic is not able to identify the data subject.
This transfer is governed by the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework, under which Anthropic is certified, and by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses (SCC). Anthropic undertakes not to use the data transmitted through its API to train its models.
The orientation report is written with the assistance of an artificial intelligence model, on the basis of the pseudonymised data described in section 5. The generated text is then proofread, validated and, where applicable, modified by your coach before it is passed on.
No decision producing legal effects or significantly affecting you is taken on a purely automated basis: the report is a tool to support reflection, given to the young person and their family, and the choice of orientation remains entirely in your hands.

A coachee's data is kept for the duration of the coaching engagement. Once that engagement has ended, the data can be deleted on simple request, or archived only if the coach and the young person agree on follow-up over time.

Access to the coach area is protected by a username and password. Communications are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS). Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never accessible in plain text.
To understand how our pages are used (number of visits, pages viewed, links clicked), we use an audience measurement solution that we host ourselves, in Europe. It sets no cookies, uses no identifier that would allow you to be recognised, and collects no personal data and no form content. The statistics produced are aggregated and anonymous only, and are never shared with third parties.
